Performance CurvesThe following curves describe the revised motor performance of the model 2104A31A motor with 4" stack and three turn winding. The first three curves show torque/speed/efficiency and torque/speed/power when the motor rotor is fully engaged (in the max. torque position). Note that torque is shown in N-M (x 100). to convert to Lb-Ft, multiply N-M x .7376. Power is shown in watts x 10,000. To convert watts of power to HP, divide watts by 746. (Note: Data updated periodically. Use charts as guide.)
Curves 4, 5, and 6 show torque/speed/current, torque/speed/efficiency and torque/speed/power when the motor rotor is fully extended (in the max. speed position). All curves are for the 600 amp controller on this system. Future systems can will have an optional 33% more max. torque with the four power module 800 amp system. Actuator stroke divided into four segments of 0.75" stroke to define five speed ranges as follows, with max. torque inversely proportional to speed (with calc. Max speed in that range):
The motor controller will automatically shirt the rotor for extended speed capability as long as the motor is drawing less than 80% of it's max. current capability. As motor rpm drops, the motor controller will automatically re-engage the rotor higher torque capability.
